In this tragic case, our clients' son was brutally murdered on a prison transport bus while officers sat idly by just feet away without intervening or protecting the young victim.  As a result of Mr. Hansel's argument above, Maryland's highest court rejected the officer's attempts to avoid liability.  Mr. Hansel is the second lawyer to argue and his delivery begins shortly after the 22 minute mark.

In the historic argument above, Cary Hansel successfully asked the Maryland Supreme Court to adopt a new claim for police misconduct and defeated claims of immunity, allowing collection of what was, at the time, the highest verdict against the notorious Prince George's County police department.  Mr. Hansel is the second attorney to argue and his delivery begins at approximately the 26 minute mark.

Police shoot family pets on the pet's own property when the pet hasn't bitten anyone at an alarming rate.  The Department of Justice calls it an "epidemic."
